Rules for Lodging/Private Rooms

Fees and payment: According to ordinances enacted by Saitama City, we have been required since April 1, 2018 to charge a bath tax separate from the listed prices for guests using a private room.
“150 yen per night for each adult guest (junior high school students or older)”
We would like to thank our guests in advance for their understanding regarding the bath tax.
Facilities Usage Fees (adults: 1,260 yen; children: 630 yen) are included in the rates for lodging and private rooms. Please pay lodging and private room fees at the time of check-in. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, SAISON.

Use of the facilities, baths, and common areas: Bathrobes, face towels, and bath towels are included in lodging fees.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the baths.
The baths are cleaned between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM. The baths cannot be used between these hours.
The 1st floor common areas and baths are cleaned between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The common areas and baths cannot be used between these hours.
After 10:00 PM, guests under 18 years of age cannot use the 1st floor common areas.
Intoxicated individuals and individuals with tattoos cannot enter or stay in the facilities. If such individuals are discovered in the facilities, they will be asked to leave immediately. However, individuals with tattoos that can be covered using one cover sticker (12.8 × 18.2 centimeters; about the size of a B6 book cover) may use the facilities as long as their tattoo is covered. (*Cover stickers are sold at the front desk at 200 yen.)
Children wearing diapers or training pants are not allowed in the baths. Please use the baby bath located in the bathhouse.
Menstruating women are not allowed in the baths.
*The women’s bath is located on the 2nd floor. Please note that no elevator is available.
Permission from an adult guardian is required for overnight lodging or use of private rooms by minors only. For further details, please contact Ofuro Café Utatane by telephone.

Maximum number of guests for lodging/private rooms; Rules on sharing beds with children: The maximum number of guests must not be exceeded when lodging in a private room.
Lodging fees are charged for the first two guests regardless of age. (When making a reservation, please specify two adults.)
For children from 3 years to elementary school age, it is possible to share beds with children starting from the third guest.
(*Extra beds are not available.)
In addition to lodging fees and private room fees, an additional fee of 1,050 yen is charged at the time of check-in.
Children under 3 years of age are free.

About Lodging/Private Rooms: All rooms are no-smoking. For smoking, please use the smoking room located on the 1st floor.
If room furnishings are found to have been damaged or dirtied, or if we discover that guests have been smoking, we will charge guests for the cost of repairs or cleaning.
A cancellation fee of 100% of lodging fees will be charged for cancellations on the same day as the reservation.
If you wish to cancel a reservation, please use the reservation website to perform cancellation procedures yourself by 12:00 AM on the day prior to the reservation date.

Check-in and check-out: Check-in time is from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM. If a guest does not check in by 12:00 AM and has not contacted Utatane in advance, we may charge cancellation fees.
Check-out time is until 10:00 AM the following morning. However, please note that the 1st floor common areas and baths are cleaned between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, and cannot be used between those hours.
If you wish to leave the facilities temporarily after checking in, please pay for any orders/services before leaving. Also, please leave your room key and payment wristband at the front desk.
Due to the system at Utatane, lodging facilities rooms cannot be used between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Guests who are staying multiple nights can spend their time in the 1st floor common areas and baths.
A late fee (500 yen/15 minutes) will be charged to guests checking out after 10:00 AM.
