Utatane is open 365 days a year. However, once every several months, Utatane is closed in order to perform facilities maintenance. Please see our official homepage for further details.

Please do not bring food or drinks into Utatane. After the cafﾃｩ closes, light meals are available at the front desk. Guests staying in private rooms can bring food or drinks into their private rooms.

The facilities at Utatane can be used from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM the following day at normal rates. When staying from 2:00 AM to 9:00 AM, you will be charged a late-night fee of 840 yen.

Reservations can be made on the Internet. The lowest prices are available when making reservations from our official homepage. If reservation options are not displayed, then all rooms are currently full.
*Please note that we do not accept reservations by telephone.

Rates vary depending on the day of lodging. To see room rates during particular sales periods, please enter your desired date and number of guests on our reservation form for lodging and private rooms. Please note that facilities usage fees (adults: 1,260 yen; children: 630 yen) are included in the rates for lodging and private rooms.

A cancellation fee of 100% of lodging fees will be charged for cancellations on the same day as the reservation.
If you wish to cancel a reservation, please use the reservation website to perform cancellation procedures yourself by 12:00 AM on the day prior to the reservation date.

Guests can use the facilities at Utatane from the start of operation (10:00 AM) on the day of your stay.
*Regular facilities usage fees are included in lodging fees. Separate fees are not incurred.
*Private rooms are available for use from 6:00 PM.

All facilities at Utatane are non-smoking. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking area.

Televisions in private rooms are only for watching terrestrial broadcasting. They cannot be used to watch DVDs.
Also, please note that equipment such as DVD players cannot be borrowed at Utatane.

Only guests staying at Utatane can leave and then reenter. Please notify staff at the front desk before leaving.

Permission from an adult guardian is required for overnight lodging or use of private rooms by minors only. Before checking in for an overnight stay, please enter the required information on the consent form for overnight stays by minors. Be sure to bring the completed form when checking in.

Please call Utatane if your check-in time will be after 12:00 AM. You do not have to contact Utatane if you will be checking in before 12:00 AM.

Children under 3 years of age can enter Utatane free of charge. If your children are still in diapers, please use the baby bath which is available at our facilities.

Our free shuttle bus is not equipped with child seats. Therefore, according to law, children cannot ride the shuttle bus.
*Please use public transportation or a private vehicle.

There are no restrictions on entry or bathing for pregnant women.
However, Ofuro Cafﾃｩ Utatane assumes absolutely no responsibility for trouble resulting from risks such as slipping and falling in the bathhouse, light-headedness from staying in a bath for too long, or stimulation from the anemic hot spring quality.
*Please consult with your doctor and enter baths at your own responsibility.

Guests can take their own reading material into a bath. However, due to the danger of fire, reading material cannot be taken into the sauna. Also, please do not take books belonging to Utatane into a bath.

We accept UC, Visa, Mastercard, and JCB.

Baths are cleaned from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Baths cannot be used during these hours. They are available for use during all other hours.

Children who are still at an elementary school age or younger cannot enter or use the facilities by themselves. They can only use the facilities together with a guardian. Furthermore, even when accompanied by a guardian, children under 18 years of age cannot use facilities after 2:00 AM. If children are staying overnight, we ask that they remain in their rooms during this time.

For guests on the unlimited use plan, a bathrobe, hand towel, and bath towel are available as a set. Towels are not included in other entrance plans. For those plans, please bring your own towel or purchase a rental towel set (hand towel and bath towel for 200 yen).

Individuals with tattoos that can be covered using one cover sticker (12.8 ﾃ・18.2 centimeters; about the size of a B6 book cover) may use the facilities as long as their tattoo is covered. (Cover stickers are sold at the front desk at 200 yen.)
If your tattoo exceeds the size listed above, you cannot enter Utatane.

Utatane does not accept deliveries of luggage.
However, it is possible to have luggage shipped from Utatane to the homes of guests.
*Guests are responsible for paying all related shipping fees.

Even when using the café only, guests will be charged the facilities usage fees when entering Utatane.
